Summary[]
A moderately fast, well armored zombie with rapid life regeneration. Larger in size than other zombies with similar life-capacities. Typically spawns in groups of one to four, and spawn from the holes in the Seal the Holes mission.
Engagement & Tactics[]
The main threat of the bruchus is its ability to regenerate its life almost immediately after being hit. Concentrated firepower or explosives are very useful for killing bruchus. Any source of damage higher than its maximum life or a Damage per second ratio that is higher than 210(310 with Arch Vile regeneration aura) can kill this unit, otherwise attacking it will be useless. Multiple Bruchus can also fill narrow choke points with ease because of their size, making them a particular nuisance in narrow passages.
